The system measures the oxygen value at the sensor position. The control panel instrument is also connected to a nearby thermocouple. The probe has a reference air connection supplied from the control panel via integral pumping system and the control instrument.
The OxyTech oxygen probe produces a continuous signal dependent on the level of dissolved oxygen in the molten tin bath. The dissolved oxygen value is displayed in PPM units on the control panel instrument and the analog output allows additional monitoring and recording of data.
